Apricot Tree Cafe Owner Victorious on Softball Field.

Ty Priest was named "most valuable player" in the recent International Friendship competition - between 30 of the best Softballers in Australia that were broken into 2 teams Gold & Green, a New Zealand Development Squad, and Teams from NSW & QLD.

Ty’s team Gold took out the final with Ty receiving the Most Valuable Player Trophy for this series.

From this series an Australian Under 19 Team was chosen to stay on in Sydney and play a full New Zealand Team in a 5 game Test Series.

Ty was given the great honour of being Named Captain of the Australia squad for this series and handled himself very well.  Not only did Australia win but Ty took out the best batting award overall.

Ty has now been named Australian Vice Captain for the World Series - a great honour.
