Addressing Concerns at Altona Train Station.

5/12/08

Victoria Police and the Altona Village Traders Association set up at the Altona Railway station today [Tuesday 2nd December] offering refreshments to train commuters and the general public.

Police members offered advice on safety train travel, handed out brochures on graffiti and made themselves available to hear the concerns of our community.

This initiative is the start of many to come for Altona as we strive to make our town attractive and members of our community feel safe within their community.

The feedback from members of the public was extremely positive and they were delighted to see such a visible police presence on the streets of Altona.
